Castle View Guest House is a spacious Georgian penthouse apartment on the 3rd and 4th flooring of an Edinburgh townhouse the house where Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932) author of The Wind in the Willows was born.
With lovely views from the front of the apartment to Edinburgh Castle on the right and the Firth of Forth to the left the guest house is less than 100 metres from Princes Street it is surrounded by bars shops and is 0.8 km from the Scottish Gallery.
Our policy has always been that we always give our guests the welcome standard of service facilities and hearty breakfast that we would like ourselves whether we are on holiday on a business trip.
Please tell us in ahead of time or on check-in if you would like to arrange this.
There is no lift at the property although we are always happy to assist with luggage and can provide breakfast in your room if you would prefer.
Please note that Castle View is a period property with a number of stairs.
