Ten Hill Place Hotel is one of Edinburgh s premier main city centre hotels just 0.5 miles from Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station.
Opened in 2006 this 4-star contemporary hotel is located in a quiet Georgian square still within a short walking distance of all the city s main attractions - 5 minutes to walk from the Royal Mile the focal point of the annual Edinburgh Festival and Edinburgh s main shopping region of Princes Street overlooked by the iconic Edinburgh Castle only a 15 minute to walk away.
During these changes we will be continually trying to ensure the guest hotel experiences is not impacted.
With the above changes this will have a significant impact on upgrading the hotel services and facilities.
From the guests perspective during the months of May and June the ground floor may aesthetically look different as we go through this process but we will continue to offer the same services with breakfast lunch and dinner and there is no impact on the guest guestrooms facilities at all.
This particular stage is planned to take no longer than a week.
The existing restaurant will close to allow for the executive lounge region area and gymnasium to be completed.
In May and June the restaurant and drinks bar areas will switch to the upgraded and renovated space.
No visual impact will happen at the early part of the year.
The ground floor programme is fazed that we always ensure that we have a reception region drinks bar and restaurant facilities at all times.
Additionally we will be adding in a gymnasium and executive lounge region facility.
This region is being redeveloped and 10 of our existing guestrooms along with the current restaurant and wine drinks bar will be converted into one large connected food and beverage space with lounge region area restaurant and bar.
From January June 2018 there will be some disruption mainly in the ground floor of the hotel.
Ten Hill Place hotel is currently extending in size and number of guestrooms and as of September 2018 we will be increasing from 77 up to 129 bedrooms.
