Vibrant Leith! Our lovely old house (built 1823 ) is near to Leith Walk the most exciting and cosmopolitan part of Edinburgh with its diverse culture and many bars and restaurants.
Away from the touristy streets of the centre this is where local people come to relax and have fun trying out the latest foods and craft beers.
We have a dog Bracken who is very congenial and likes to say hello to all our guests.
There are no TVs in any of the guest rooms but there is complimentary internet wifi and we have a choice of DVDs books and board games guests are welcome to borrow.
It will always comprise delicious artisan bread from Herbies a well known Edinburgh delicatessen a freshly made smoothie home made Bircher muesli yogurt fruit juices and a choice of cereals as well as tea and coffee.
Continental breakfast is served in the kitchen region over looking the back garden and if the weather has been kind and the season is right this may comprise greengages apples pears and blackberries from our garden.
You will be given a key to your room on arrival so that you can come and go as you please.
A short walk of only twenty minutes takes you to the centre of town and also to the old port of Leith where you are able to drink and dine over looking the water at some of the very best restaurants in the city.
At the top of Leith Walk is most beautiful Calton Hill offering panoramic views over the city and also the colourful Broughton area.
