The Kings Inn contructed in 1705 during the construction of General Wade s roads is reputedly the oldest surviving property in Fort Augustus.
The original inn now separated into three dwellings has had several famous guests in the past including: Samuel Taylor Coleridge Boswell and Dr Johnson.
