Dated 1849 Shandwick House has seen different uses over the last century and a half the original use is not clear however we believe that it was used a doctors surgery at one point.
Originally the house also had stables though these appear to have either been demolished or sold off with adjacent land.
Sadly we cannot cater for animals.
Our policy is no smoking throughout the building.

There is a guest dining region where we serve our full Scottish breakfast or lighter meals should you wish this is also available throughout the day for a self-service facility of light refreshments.
All rooms have full en suite bathroom facilities (baring one that has private separate bathroom) all come with television complimentary internet wifi tea and coffee making facilities.
Purchased by us in 2013 and then restored to specification for Grade B listed property within the conservation region of Tain we offer a high high quality stay for guests with a relaxed ambience in which to really enjoy their visit.With experience within the hotel trade for over 15 years we understand the need for real comfort with functionality.
