We are small congenial guest bed and Breakfast located in the new part of the old conservation village of West Linton.
We are a 10 minute to walk from the Olde Bakehouse--a Bistro style restaurant and the Gordon Arms public house --both provide good food.
I like to think I offer a high quality congenial environment -- good high quality guest beds and high quality products for breakfast comprising home made bread.
We have good access to the main road North and South and the airport.
Many of our guests are touring as we are convenient for the city guests stay 2or3 nights with us and visit Edinburgh or the Scottish Borders.
There is a park and ride at Straiton which means you do not have to drive --or park!!-- in the city.
The village lies 16 miles to the south of Edinburgh city centre--11miles to the by pass---no pedestrian crossings so this takes about 10-15 minutes.
There is a small supermarket a post office an ATM and a pharmacy.
Dogs are allowed in the public house end of the Gordon Arms where they also serve food.
