The Black Lion Inn is a Grade II Listed 18th Century Country Inn located on the A5025 just outside the village of Llanfaethlu between Valley and Cemaes Bay on the most beautiful Island of Anglesey.
The Inn has been sympathetically refurbished and extended by its new owners after lying derelict for a period of about seven years.
Well-behaved pet dogs will be welcome in the B&B and drinks bar region The drinks bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday Evening all day Monday and Tuesday however access to the guest rooms is separate to the drinks bar and restaurant therefore you are welcome to stay and we can recommend places closeby to eat and we can also provide a continental breakfast for you the following morning.
We have two B&B guestrooms and guests can really enjoy a home-cooked breakfast in the sun room whilst admiring impressive views across Anglesey with the Snowdonia Mountain range providing a breathe taking backdrop.
The Inn comprises a cosy drinks bar and dining room in the original part of the property and a contemporary extension with additional dining region to the rear.
Leigh and Mari have a real passion for food and drink and feel that in order to offer the very best food they must source the very best ingredients locally-sourced and seasonal.
Prior to opening the Inn they travelled the across the UK staying at award-winning public houses and inns inspiring them to take on this new venture.
The Black Lion Inn stood empty for nearly 7 years before local couple Leigh and Mari took on the task of renovating this most beautiful 18th Century Grade II listed Inn.
