We re situated within minutes to walk from the centre of Brecon in the heart of the Beacons and offer two double and one twin guestrooms all ensuite with self catering guest kitchen region with dining region and lounge.
The house dates back to the 16th century and is grade 2 listed.
Brecon itself is a congenial town of around eight thousand people has a good choice of public houses restaurants and shops and a good deal to see and do.
The surrounding hills and quiet country lanes offer magnificent scenery breathe taking walking and enjoyable cycling.
Many events and challenges begin and or end in the town from hill walking to cycling and running to canoeing.
The Brecon to Monmouth canal is fed from the Usk and flows from the basin adjacent to Theatre Brycheniog.
Brecon sits on the banks of the river Usk (known for trout and salmon fishing) and the rivers Hondu and Tarell both flow into it within the town.
The accommodation is within our house with separate entrance.
We have ample parking and secure storage for bicycles.
Being old gives it lots of character and charm but makes it less handy to those with limited mobility (please ask if you have concerns).
