The Mansion dates from the late 1600 s when it was parochial Welsh farmhouse.
Since the 1700s it was expanded by a French family who made it the estate it is today.
Our estate is located on a gorge at the foot of the Black Mountain and on our property we have an impressive 30ft waterfall available via our Victorian woodland walk.

The Glynhir Estate is located in an perfect location for many family attractions and activites.
If you require an earlier breakfast we always have available cereal and toast.
Breakfast is served from 8am onwards.
Our breakfast menu is conventional British B&B with the heartiest plate portion being the Welsh full breakfast.
We are located under a dark sky region so without the drone of urban noises or glaring lights you can be assured of a peaceful night s sleep.
Tea and coffee is always available.
The lounge region boasts a inviting log fire in the Winter time a baby-grand piano and a TV with DVD player.
There are four spacious double/family guestrooms two with en suite bathroom bath/shower and toilet and two with en suite bathroom shower and toilet.
In the main house we always provide guest bed and breakfast accommodation.
The accommodation is rustic yet comfy with loads of character.
On roughly 220 acres we are an perfect location for groups of family or friends who have the option to stay in one of our self-catering cottages located in a micro-village in the midst of our farm with ducks geese chickens peafowl and pigs.
To this day we manage the estate in much the same way with a working farm conventional orchard and large vegetable garden.
When people hear the word estate they think of stately homes but the family who contructed it used it as a working farm also forging their own tools and mining their own resources as a totally self-sufficient rural estate.
