At Dee Valley Cottages we have a option of two cottages Swallows and Wagtails.
We are in a designated region of outstanding natural beauty with both the River Dee and the Steam Railway running along the bottom of the fields about 200 yards down the bridal path.
We even have the only Michelin starred restaurant in Wales just 20 minutes drive away somewhere to celebrate that exceptional day or anniversary.
We have restaurants bars and country public houses all close by.
Those who have a head for heights can also walk across or even canoe across it.
You can also take a barge across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct a world heritage site.
We have two stately homes with breathe taking gardens in the region a canal that is offering boats rides either horse drawn or drive your own.
The region is offering white water rafting a very best loved with families who have young children you can go horse riding mountaineering canoeing mountain biking.
There are many activities suitable for both the experienced and the novice or those who just want to relax and chill out.
A holiday with us is more than just a holiday it s being a part of and living in the history of the area.
The buildings date back to at least the late 17th century things get a bit hazy before then but we believe there has been a property on the site for well over a thousand years.
The cottages were converted in 2006 from the old barns that were attached to the farm that worked the land around us.
There is an off road private car park.
We do not charge extras.
The price you pay includes all power linen and towels plus the first scuttle of logs.
We take pride in our cottages they are fully equipped complimentary internet wifi centrally heated and very cosy with open fires huge super king size guest beds in one bedroom and twins in the other.
You will have the use of a private shared garden with amazing views across the Dee Valley.
Additional babies and children sleeping in cots are welcome.
The cottages both sleep up to 4 adults in two bedrooms.
