The Four Poster is a historic guest bed and breakfast and Holiday Cottage located in the heart of Llangollen.
It is reasonably close to the historic bridge spanning the River Dee and is ideally situated for visiting the many attractive shops and the excellent restaurants and bars of this picturesque Welsh town.
Pets welcome in the cottage (maximum of one dog of which there is a small charge per stay) by prior arrangement.
Children over 12yrs welcome.
There is a small private courtyard to the rear and off-road vehicle parking is available.
With sleeping accommodation for up to four the cottage is heated by gas central heating.
Upstairs there is a large double bedroom guest beds can either be two singles or kingsize guest bed and a second bedroom with twin beds.
It consists of a sitting room (with freeview LCD television and DVD Player) a separate dining room kitchen region (equipped with CD player larder fridge/ freezer electric cooker microwave oven oven and dishwasher) and bathroom/toilet on the ground floor.
Swn-y-Cored is the holiday cottage next to The Four Poster guest bed and Breakfast.
Children welcome but must be over 12 years.No pets allowed in the guest bed and Breakfast.
Please note we do not have any ground floor rooms or passenger lift.
They are fully equipped with freeview LCD television hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
Centrally heated and double glazed throughout all guest rooms are en suite bathroom and are furnished to a high standard.
Car parking is available.
It provides comfy accommodation with a warm congenial welcome.
Converted from a row of 17th century weavers cottages the guest bed and Breakfast has retained many of the original architectural features comprising low ceilings with exposed beams and has great charm and character.
It is also very handy for walkers cyclists canoeists and angler discovering the magnificent local landscape or as a centre for those venturing further afield to Snowdonia the North Wales coast or the closeby towns of Wrexham Chester and Oswestry.
