The Hotel Portmeirion and Castell is a private village set on its own wooded peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia.
It was contructed by visionary Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis in order to show that one could develop even a very most beautiful place without defiling it.

All meals will be served at the Hotel Portmeirion during this time.
Castell Deudraeth will close on 5th January 2019 and will re-open on 11th January 2019.
There will be disruption around the Village in the week leading up to the Craft Fair weekend.
On the weekend of 30/1/2 December 2018 there will be a Food and Craft Fair taking place here at Portmeirion.
Please ensure a table reservation for evening meals have been made in advance.
All meals will be served at Castell Deudraeth during this period.
Hotel Portmeirion will be closed from 25th November 2018 and will re-open on 30th November for essential maintenance.

Please note that guests may experience a disruption in Porthmadog throughout August in preparation for the festival number 6 event which takes place between 6 and 10 September 2018.

Portmeirion has a total of 55 guestrooms accommodation includes 14 rooms in the main hotel property over looking the most beautiful Dywryd Estuary 30 rooms and guest suites in the surrounding village and 11 contemporary style rooms and guest suites in Castell Deudraeth.
Surrounding the village on three sides are 70 acres of woodland gardens and to the south the estate is bordered by sandy beaches.
