Under new ownership since 2010 Y Talbot has been sensitively refurbished to provide high high quality hospitality and accomodation.
In addition to renovating the guestrooms and public areas we have also contructed a superb new kitchen region for our chef and team as well as landscaping the rear gardens property a new carpark and bike store.It s been a massive project but our guests really appreciate it! Our sumptuous Superior guestrooms offer flexible accomodation to suit all needs- double twin or single family guestrooms guest suites and a ground floor available room for those with impaired mobility.
For lovers of history there are numerous attractions within close proximity from early churches and Strata Florida Cistercian abbey to Devils bridge and the Hafod estate.
For outdoor enthusiasts there is much to offer excellent walking can be had from the back door of Y Talbot as well as superb cycling off and on road fishing and riding.
Situated on the market square in Tregaron Ceredigion Y Talbot enjoys a splendid rural location at the foot of the Cambrian mountains.The university towns of Lampeter and Aberystwyth and the impressive Ceredigion coastline are only half an hour s drive away.
